I bought a LHFHG cirriculum package that someone only used for 6 days.

I am going to use it for my 1st grader this year. I just have to get a LA's and math for him. I know he could do beyond, but LHFHG looks good and I know I can use it again for my younger children, plus I'm big into not pushing too hard as I did that with my DD and she got so frustrated. I'm not sure yet If I will use HOD for my 8 and 10 year old yet. I like having them together in MFW, but I like the looks of HOD too! Abby could do CTC, but Joshua couldn't do it. Preparing might work for both of them... I'm going to pray about it some more!

The Lord knows what will work best!

I want Jesus first, Christian character built in my children first-a strong foundation in the Lord! I want whatever cirriculum will do this the best and then secondly what will be easy for our family to use and won't take all day! LOL!
My too be 1st grader had a blood test showing a possible form of muscular dyrophy (I'm sure I'm spelling that wrong, it's all new to me) that they have never seen before-just last wed. This week anouther test should confirm if it was correct. If it is then there is a 50% chance that anyone of my other boys might develope symptoms too. So, I'm just holding onto the Lord and letting Him lead us, trying not to trip along the way but knowing He will lift me back up when I do trip.
Anyway, just letting you know that I'm half done in my cirriculum prayerful search!

I'm excited to get my hands on it and see what it all has! I think maybe if I see and go through the general layout of one book it might make my choice easier for the older children!

This is such a fun board to read through too!
