The funniest homeschooling tip I've ever been given! :D

Ok, I FINALLY found someone near me that homeschools! ANd she's homeschooled 5 kids, so I've been asking her for tips.

The top tip she gave me, that she swears by as being the most effective is this:

I have educational posters on the doors inside the bathroom. Don't laugh, it works. Never underestimate the learning power of a captive audience. My 2nd grader memorized his multiplication tables before the beginning of first grade that way.

I thought ya'll might enjoy that bit of wisdom.

A few times I taped the Bible verse to the wall in the bathroon across from the toilet. Playing tapes in the van works well too.

I do that too!!! Even for myself. I'm sure our visitors get a chuckle, but it does work!

This is great! Okay, I am off to find the tape so I can re-decorate the bathroom in a bible motif, or a phonics motif, or numbers or....................
