The funniest homeschooling tip I've ever been given! :D

Post by joyfulheart » Mon Apr 07, 2008 8:36 am

Ok, I FINALLY found someone near me that homeschools! ANd she's homeschooled 5 kids, so I've been asking her for tips.

The top tip she gave me, that she swears by as being the most effective is this:

I have educational posters on the doors inside the bathroom. Don't laugh, it works. Never underestimate the learning power of a captive audience. My 2nd grader memorized his multiplication tables before the beginning of first grade that way.

I thought ya'll might enjoy that bit of wisdom. :D :D :D :D

A few times I taped the Bible verse to the wall in the bathroon across from the toilet. Playing tapes in the van works well too. :D
