Thanks for all the prayers and words of encouragement. I came home from church tonight discouraged because the avenues I looked into for this little boy fell through. I am waiting to hear from a mom from our homeschool group. This evening, for a closing song after church we sang:
Got any rivers you think are uncrossable?
Got any mountains you can't tunnel through?
God specializes in things thought impossible
He does the things others cannot do.
I was reminded that God can still work this out, even when, to me, things seem like they aren't working out.

I don't know if dh will change his mind. Even if he did, making a commitment that big is a little scary for me. Part of me would love it, but part of me feels overwhelmed by the idea. God will definitely need to make things clear. I just know he can't stay where he is.
