Now...to get started with little boy on Beyond. Methinks it may not be as easy as big boy was this morning. My older son loves school and does anything you put in front of him, whereas my younger son whines at every.little.thing. Fun fun!
That is SO FUNNY that you mention that, Julie. Along with such independence comes the art of learning to read the boxes COMPLETELY. LOL We ended the 3 day of CTC with 1 blank box (the earth, of all things), a poem painting sans the leaf and the POEM!, and (this one is a real doozy) Science questions that were numbered 1-5...with questions 1-2 being good, question 3 being 1/2 done, question 4 having the following sentence: "go to with thornt are." (my3sons wrote:Hooray, Rebecca!I'm so glad your ds is off to a good start with CTC. I bet he loves his Student Notebook - it's so beautiful!
Also a good way to visually see if they did everything (we got done with the first week of CTC and had 1 empty box)
. We'd missed the written narration. I hope your ds has a good start to Beyond too!
