Its great that you realized your littlest isn't ready yet and are willing to wait a bit. Please let us know how your managing with multiple programs.

LOL, you girls don't forget anything

Ok, so I am taking back my famous saying! Here's why...,
Until HOD I had never found a program laid out so perfectly. I love how HOD let's me eat my meal, one bite at a time.
I feel like what sets this program apart from all the others is the time spent putting it together. It is not just a schedule of books. There has been thought put behind every assignment.
Each project has purpose. We are not doing art projects to simply do art projects. It ties into our history or bible, it teaches us art basics and it's simple. I love how when there is a long lesson in math HOD takes that lesson and breaks it up and yet when they are doing something simple they speed it up.
You can tell that Carrie used this with her oldest first, BEFORE releasing it to us. There is absolute purpose in every step.
I had another friend over today. She came just to go through my HOD stuff. I loved watching her eyes light up and here's why:
Biblical Worldview
Living books w/ just the right amount of traditional
Layout is very pleasing to the eye, helps break your day up
GREAT Art idea's
Music is WONDERFUL
Ice breakers for assignments help with understanding
Key Idea's, nutshell points to help students retain purpose
I could go on and on!
In ten years of homeschooling I have never found a program I loved more. HOD is the real deal, it's everything and most importantly it's simple small bites that at the end of a year my children are going to walk away MORE informed and educated then the years we've tried doing those BEEFY all day type programs.
I happen to also be one of our counties homeschool support group leader and I know were supposed to be UNbiased. But, MAN, that's going to be hard. I want everyone to do HOD!
Thank YOU Water2wine and My3sons for encouraging me to "look"! You helped change our homeschooling life!
