My son is on pg 115 of book 1A. Should all the problems and math facts be done mentally or is it ok for him to still use manipulatives, number line, etc. at this point? I will be using Beyond with my 6 yr. old this coming year. I am curious how you keep all the poetry writing together...do you have them put it in a poetry notebook, binder, folder, etc?
