MTMM science Exploration Education

Wondering if anyone knows if this could be used by two students or would both need their own kit?
Thanks!

Requesting help for high school placement

Good evening - I've been pouring over placement charts and course descriptions for my four children all day today. They have been in public school for the past two years, homeschooled before that, and as the year approaches I have the nagging in my heart to keep them home. I did use HOD when they we...

Re: Combining Help

Hi! here's my experience: I did combine my children and had my 8 yr olds in Preparing with olders. I was definitely dragging them along in some aspects. That is not to say they didn't get a lot out of their year. So it isn't the worst thing BUT it causes placement problems down the line, if you plan...

Re: want to return to HOD but I've created a placement probl

thank you for the reassurance that skipping guides will work. My family just returned from vacation, where my husband and I had some time to pray and think about next year's direction and we've decided on HOD. I have also decided on trying to place everyone where they belong (for once). This seems d...

Re: want to return to HOD but I've created a placement probl

Thanks for your response. I hope you figure it out too! The thought of doing 3 guides is really scary to me but there is no comparison curriculumwise so I may just take the challenge.

Re: want to return to HOD but I've created a placement probl

Yes those placements are according to the placement chart. Thanks! Maybe I just need to hear that skipping guides isn't the end of the world. I didn't use the placement guide before because I so loved keeping everyone together for the main part of the day. I should've had quads! :)

want to return to HOD but I've created a placement problem

Just putting my situation out there and open to any opinions... I have four kids. I previously combined them in Preparing last year (grades 3,3,4 and 6)and in Bigger the year before that. It worked out for us but I realized at the end of last year that I couldn't keep going all together, as my oldes...

Re: I can't do two guides

Hi - just wanted to add that I have combined all of mine in Bigger this yr - ages 6, 7 & 9. I started out in Beyond & Bigger but was also one that couldn't get in a groove with the multiple guides. I know how frustrating that feels when you read on here how everyone manages so beautifully and succes...

Re: Different maths for different kids?

Hi! I do different maths with my kiddos. My younger 2 do the Singapore and my older 2 do Teaching Textbooks. TT is pretty self-taught & independent so it works out great for my olders who want to do things on their own. It's also nice for me to be able to send them off to do a subject without me! :)

Re: Commit to pray for the Austin Family

Our family is praying for yours. So thankful for you and for your commitment to this calling in your life. You are very inspiring to me personally in my own life, as I learn to draw on His strength to complete a task I feel unequipped for. You are a permanent prayer request! :)

"My ds8 is my oldest and therefore the designated "homeschool guinea pig". He gets to pilot most everything. I just keep praying that I'm not ruining him!"

I smiled when I read this. I think we're all praying that! :)

Re: Back to HOD this yr - just need help w/ thoughts

Thanks so much for the thoughts! I like the idea of the left side of Beyond & right of Bigger nxt yr. I never even thought of that - exactly why I posted. :) I was sad for them to miss out on Beyond & that would take care of that.
Thank you!
