Back to HOD this yr - just need help w/ thoughts

Hi all! Long story short: I joined Classical Conversations last yr & am back to HOD this yr. Kiddos are 6 (twins), 7 & 9. Although my dd9 placed in Preparing, I did not want her to miss Bigger-she did do Beyond the yr b4 CC. I combined her with DS7 & doing extensions w her. Twins were doing Beyond. It was nuts & I was really frazzled. About the 3rd wk of school this yr I combined them all for the left side of Bigger & did the right side of Beyond w the twins. It has been smooth sailing since then. All 4 of them love doing history, science together, poetry the copywork, everything. ( i cannot believe some of the stuff the twins r pumping out w their older sibs spurring them on).
Now that things are going SO well, of course, my mind turns to my next dilemma - the future. What do I do nxt. yr now that my littles have done the left side of Bigger? They'll only be in "2nd grade" so I won't want to move them further ahead. I feel like I"m shooting myself in the foot & wondering if I did the wrong thing in combing them all, even though it's going so well...
I know that you mommas on here are great at thinking these situations through and offering another angle. Thanks in advance!

As long as they are whipping along, I would just keep going. If there comes a point when they fall behind, address the situation then. Right now, I would say you have a great thing going. There is no need to borrow trouble. I combine three of mine in one program and two in another as separating did not work for us either.

Just watch and observe this year to see how it goes and if the twins are not ready to go up you could do the left side of Beyond along with the right side of Bigger.
As the year progresses you will be better able to determine their needs.

Thanks so much for the thoughts! I like the idea of the left side of Beyond & right of Bigger nxt yr. I never even thought of that - exactly why I posted. I was sad for them to miss out on Beyond & that would take care of that.
