Thank you, Carrie. We are actually finishing up the WH guide, so we already are using the shrink wrap plans. I had received a note with one of the installments saying the final guide would ship at the end of May, so I was just following up.
Thanks!

Re: *Algebra 2 in HS American History
Hi Lynn, Yes. My son enjoyed using Foerster's and the Math Without Borders videos. The book is written and organized in a straightforward manner, which I like. All that said, my son did most of it independently because he (unlike me) is a mathy kid. I did find that some assignments took him a really...

World History Teacher Guide
I know the WH guide was supposed to go the printer's in mid-May. I'm just wondering when we should expect to get the final TG?
Thank you!

*Algebra 2 in HS American History
Carrie/Julie, Is the plan to use Foerster's Algebra 2/Trig program with Math Without Borders again in the new American History program? If so, is this done over 2 years, or one? Does it go on the transcript as Algebra 2 one year and Trig the next? Or Algebra 2/Trig in one year?? I need to decide whe...

Re: Carrie/Julie: Payment plan??
So, are you saying they will offer a discount on everything else except the World History program? :( The discount in the WH package is to make up for the inconvenience of having the TM and notebooking pages shipped in sections, I was told. Am I missing something else? Carrie/Julie: will you please ...

Carrie/Julie: Payment plan??
Hi ladies, I saw a post today where Julie mentioned setting up a payment plan. How do we do that and is there interest charged? I need to order all of the World History for my 10th grader, as well as a few resources for my dd for RTR. My husband was suddenly laid off from work almost three weeks ago...

Re: *World History Geometry question--Carrie/Julie/anyone?
Wow, Carrie. A lot of detailed, wonderful advice. Thank you!! :D I will look through his math book today and see how best to apply all you've suggested. With the WG guide, I think I will likely stop short, but I really would like him to finish his entries in the Student notebook and the world Religi...

Re: *World History Geometry question--Carrie/Julie/anyone?
Hi Julie, Thank you for responding! My son is taking his Algebra 1 Chapter 9 test today, and will start Chapter 10 tomorrow. We have been following the pacing suggestions, in general, but there were days when my ds took so long doing his other subjects that he didn't do his math. (Not great, I know....

Re: *World History Geometry question--Carrie/Julie/anyone?
Thank you, Carrie. That does help. You have understood my concerns very well. :D I think I will go ahead with the Chakerian/Chandler package. I really like the idea of the laid out solutions, and my ds really likes the Chandler video for Algebra 1. We are still working in the Algebra 1 text and are ...

Re: *World History Geometry question--Carrie/Julie/anyone?
Hi Carrie, Thank you for responding to me. I am feeling overwhelmed and panicky about this! The class would use Jacobs 2nd ed., which I have read is better with concrete steps for proofs than 3rd ed. My ds was reading the Jacobs book yesterday for fun bc of the comics. :) How did 2nd edition overall...

*World History Geometry question--Carrie/Julie/anyone?
Hi ladies, My son will be moving into the WH guide this year, after finishing the WG guide. He did Foerster's Algebra 1. We both like David Chandler's videos. I will state up front that I am not a math girl, and remember next to nothing from Geometry. So, I am trying to decide (um, agonizing over) w...

Re: High School--Rev to Rev or Geography guide?
Hi Tiffani, I appreciate you jumping in and giving a glowing review of WG because right after I ordered, I started freaking out, thinking I should cancel it and just go back and do either Rev to Rev or MTMM for American history instead. So, even after I've made a decision....I haven't! I gues...
