Thanks for responding. I understand now. I thought that the basic package replaced the extensions.
Thanks,
Sonya

? Ordering Preparing
I am putting everything together for my husband to take a look at. I am planning on doing Preparing with extensions for 6th grade and 8th grade for 2009/2010. I am ordering the: Economy Package and Science Adder and the Extensions. Do I also have to order the Basic Package also or is the Extensions ...

Re: Pictures of my School Room
I love your room. The floors are absolutely beautiful. We are blessed to have a room for school in the current house we are living in. Before we moved, we did school in the kitchen or living room. I am posting some of our pictures too. http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m433/sgmaddox/DSC_4332.jpg ht...

Re: Any HOD user's with 7th graders?
Hi,
I am new to HOD myself, but if you do a search on "older students" you will find a lot of information about what other's are doing.

Re: Trying hard to be nice on other forums when it comes to HOD!
Funny, I haven't even purchased by HOD for next year, and I don't go to the other forum that I used to go to either. I have really been reading and showing my dh what a great program this will be for all of our children for the upcoming school year. I have even started saving so that I can purchase ...

Re: OT:Those of you planning on attending the Atlanta conference
Oh, that is great. We are planning on going too. I usually go with other mom's that homeschool, but this year I talked my husband into going so that he can see what a blessing it is to see such a vast array of homeschooling "knowledge" in one place. I had planned on going to the conference in Nashvi...

Re: Questions on Ordering PHFHG
Thanks now I understand what I need to order. I only wish I could see a list of the 6/7/8 genre for DITHOR.

Questions on Ordering PHFHG
I have talked to my husband and he stated that he wants us to use Preparing next school year for our 6th grader and 8th grader. I just need to come up with the figures financially so that he will know what a tentative budget will be. Am I supposed to order the Economy with the Science along with the...

Re: Bigger Hearts ? for Older Students
Thanks, I did check out the placement chart and this is why I look like this  (smile). My son is 13, not really motivated to do school. I mentioned in a previous post that he is a very "artsy" child. He loves to draw, he makes clay scupltures. School just does not motivate him, if I allowed h...

Re: Help Me Please!!(I thought I had it all planned out)
Thanks for the wonderful suggestions. I posted another question because I am pretty much settled on using HOD, but I am like a kid in a candy store. I don't know what to choose.

Bigger Hearts ? for Older Students
Hello again, I have read a lot of messages and I have been really inspired and refreshed to use HOD. For those of you that are using BHFHG for older students, what are your plans after that? My son will be in the 8th grade in the Fall and I really would like to use Bigger, but I have to look at 9th ...

Help Me Please!!(I thought I had it all planned out)
My name is Sonya, I thought I had prayerfully decided to use MFW for next year, and then I can across HOD. I had my husband look over HOD as well, and I just need to get some answers. I have 3 children ages 13, 10 and soon to be 5. This is our 7th year of homeschooling and we have used a mix of curr...
