Now I can't WAIT to get it! It's like the anticipation of Christmas! :D :D :D

I've never even seen it in person before, but feel so drawn to it already. The Lord has definitely brought me to this wonderful place! :D

Just HAD to share! I will post again when I get it!

Dena, I just wanted to say congratulations!!! I have not had a box day with HOD but did pick up Preparing at the conference and it is wonderful!! The books, the guide and everything else!! Since convention I also decided to put my dd 13 in RTR, so both of us will have a child in Preparing and RTR. I already have MFW K for my 4 y/o so I won't be able to put her into HOD this year. My box day for RTR will have to wait until I save enough $$ :D

Blessings,

Box day is going to be so much fun for you! I'll be looking forward to hearing about it. I have all of my Preparing things and have the RTR guide as well. (I got it for the purity study). So I know a little of the wonderful things that you'll be getting. It will be the best Christmas in June ever! :D

My BOX DAY arrived! :D I waited for the Brown Truck with Yellow Writing all day  , and when it came, I was outside and squealed with glee and was jumping up and down. :D I think the poor man thought I was a bit strange  !

Unfortunately, I had to leave, so I ran inside to open the box, just to grab out the Teacher's Guides for Preparing Hearts and Resurrection to Reformation, and left the rest until I could get back home.

After I got a minute, I flipped through the TG's. I honestly have never seen anything like these TG's. The one page format is so different, but so NICE! :D

After I got home, I was able to look at all the other wonderful books I purchased. :D It was alot, though, so I've spent the last couple days just really checking everything out. I STILL haven't gotten a chance to really look through everything  , but all that I have seen has been FANTASTIC! :D

I think this very well may be the BEST homeschool year we've had yet! :D :D :D

Oh, and I also started my Preschooler in Little Hands to Heaven this week. It is so sweet, and we both are really loving it! :D She even said to me today, "Mom, you forgot to do my school with me!" I told her that today is Saturday, and that we only do school Monday through Friday. But, I think I would have pulled it out - even on Saturday :D - if I hadn't been preparing a meal to celebrate Father's Day with my Dad today, a day early.

So, there's the update. Now, I'm just having fun organizing my bookshelves with all our new school books. I'm even reorganizing their work areas, and planning and organizing our schedules and chores for this coming school year. Can't wait to get started! :D

I could have written this exact post...except I am having to wait until next week to order.. That is almost worse, because it makes the wait even longer!

Dena,

Your books will become the reading you do in your "spare" time! :)

Also, I have grown to LOVE the box format of the pages. I think you will too. And I just love seeing the little checkmarks I put in each box everyday after we're done!!

Enjoy!! And I also love the new paper smell of a box day, heehee!!

Have fun!

I just had to add - I too have loved the boxed format of plans. :D Seeing my whole day at a glance helps me better see how it will go. I always like to get my favorite cup of coffee and pour through my new guide(s). I read through the "Introduction" with hi-lighter in hand, and note in the margin any special things I want to buy for school supplies. Then I look through all the wonderful books that my dc will get to use, and I just keep filling more and more like my "cup" is filling up with joy I get to homeschool! It really is such a blessing. PTL! Have fun looking through your things and dreaming of your year to come! :D
