How did you celebrate your medieval feast?
How did you celebrate your medieval feast?
My ds made his trenchers today (with the insistent "help" of his little sister), and is looking forward to the our feast on Saturday! He already has his comedy routine planned out
I'm trying to convince him to play his guitar for us. How did you celebrate? What foods did you prepare? Did you do any costumes or decorating?

How fun!
I like the idea of your ds playing his guitar and doing some slapstick for you.
I remember our medieval feast, and we had such a good time! Your post here made me want to take a trip down memory lane - that feast was such a fun evening for our family. Here is a link to the weekly check-in I did after that night...

Have fun with your feast - and please do tell us about it here if you get the chance!
I wish I could be there.

Laura,
I hope your medieval feast went well and that you enjoyed it as much as we did when we had ours.
Here are a few links to some other medieval feasts that moms have shared about on the board in the past.

Anyway, just a few links to give a glimpse into other family's Medieval Feasts.
What fun!

Re: How did you celebrate your medieval feast?
Laura,
Carrie already found our pictures for me.
We loved this activity! Grant had a great time planning it and giving Allison and Garret jobs. They felt pretty important to be part of the entertainment.
We fed our trenchers to the dogs when we were done.
Hope you had a great feast!
