Can anyone recommend a book.....

with pictures on places in the world? After reading about Amsterdam, Holland in Beyond, I realized we have no picture books or encyclopedias that contain just cities and countries in the world.
I go online, but it seems to be very time consuming to find a decent link w/pictures. My dd has about a zero interest level in anything and good world book would help.

Hi Annaz,

A homeschooling friend of mine once recommended Window on the World. It is a book with info. and pictures for I think over 100 countries. It also lists ways you can pray for that country. She said she really liked it, but I don't personally own it. I know Amazon has it and you can read reviews for it there too. Christianbook.com might have it too. Not sure if it is exactly what you are looking for, but it might be a good resource. Hope that helps.

Along with the resource suggested Children Just Like Me is a fun resource as well.
