Just wanted to post a comment from my 4 year old. I was asking her how she is enjoying homeschool now, and she said she likes it a lot. She used to ask to go to school all the time. We recently (I think last week) talked about the golden calf and the Israelites worshipping other than the one true God. She asked me, "Mom, if I was in public school would I have to worship a statue?" Whaaaat?

She was really concerned. I said no, of course not, but if you were in school you wouldn't be allowed to talk about God or worship Him there. She said she's glad she's in homeschool because she can read the Bible and talk about bible verses.
Also in our homeschool park day last Friday a woman asked her if she's doing preschool. She said, "Yes, I am doing preschool at home and we're doing Little Hands To Heaven. It's Heart of Dakota. I really like it". The lady said, "oh, I've never heard of that, I'll have to look it up"
Though my daughter was being literal in her concern about the idols, because she knows we want her home for a God-honoring education, it made me think about the idols she might learn to worship in school.

Thank you Lord for telling us to keep our kids home! And thanks Carrie and team for making it a joy, apparently at every stage.
I just thought you might find this amusing.
