Just had to say.....

Post by MistyP » Thu Nov 18, 2010 9:24 pm

My girls LOVED making ice cream for Science today!!!  My oldest asked "Can we do this again and do more for dessert or something??" They are going to be so excited to make ricotta cheese tomorrow.

With my twin pregnancy, I haven't been as "together" as I would like with school and housework, and I am not getting in the extra school stuff I was planning on; some days we forget our story time and by the time I remember at bedtime I am too exhausted so it was really nice to have a "I LOVE this" moment today!!!

Aw, that's wonderful! One of the things I like about HOD is that I always feel like if I don't get to the "extras", it's ok. HOD has given me everything I need in one package. I love knowing that I can feel confident that my dc are getting all they need when I get the guide done, then if I have time or energy for extras (I rarely do  ) then I can do those. Before HOD, I was always stressed about not getting to everything but with HOD, that is gone. Yeah! :D

I am so happy for you that you and your dc are enjoying Beyond! You're doing wonderfully especially making it through these days being pg with twins. I think I read when I was pg with my twins, that it takes about as much energy each day as climbing a mountain everyday! That's a lot of energy expended! You're doing great! :D

YAY! Celebrating with you, Misty! I know my boys would LOVE making ice cream! We haven't done Beyond yet, so that is something to look forward to for us! :D

Praying your twin pregnancy -- for healthy babies and a healthy momma. I just had one baby 3 months ago...can't imagine TWO! So exciting! :D

HOORAY for an extra happy homeschooling moment in the day-to-day! :D :D :D You are doing such a good job pressing on being pregnant! :D Some days can be tough, but I promise you that you will be oh-so-thankful for every single day you get school done now, for later when your precious babies arrive you will appreciate that progress tenfold. Homeschooling is not always easy; in fact it rarely is, and it takes a Godly woman to search for the golden treasures contained in each teaching day. Kuddos to you for keeping your eyes open for those treasures and celebrating them when you find them! :D

Oh! I'm so glad. We busy mommas have to rejoice in moments such as those, don't we! :D They are great to hide away in our hearts.

My boys loved making ice cream too. They made another batch to share with daddy at supper that evening. :D

Blessings,
Carrie
