Dh's parents are arriving sometime today and usually their visits are quite stressful. His dad tends to speak his mind on anything and everything (usually to the kids or to me). Mike has talked to them about it before each visit, but this time he said he won't allow it to continue and will stand up for his family. Please pray things go smoothly as we've made some changes in how we do things in a couple areas since they visited last year. We live very different lives from how we were raised and from how our siblings' families live. I'm already stressed out as 4yrs ago we had some very stressful traumatic things happen in our family and our marriage almost fell apart; mid Aug - Oct/Nov are still emotional times for me each year. I'm feeling overwhelmed with the emotional stuff, their visit, trying to finish preparing everything to start HOD Sep 7th, plus dh rented a dumpster 2 weeks ago so we could declutter (it's still mostly empty ) . Okay, so major, major overload for this mamma who likes everything neat, tidy, and all planned out and hates surprises! Thanks, ladies!
