Field trip to kick of CTC

Post by LynnH » Mon Aug 23, 2010 2:20 pm

We officially start CTC tomorrow, so today we decided to do a field trip to the Creation Museum. It was a great way to get Noah excited about learning more about Ancient History. The highlight was that we all got to ride on their camel named Gomer.

What a perfect trip to kick off CTC!! :D We would LOVE to visit the Creation Museum sometime.
You're in for a great time in CTC...we're in unit 4 now and loving it. (And we'll be taking our baby break starting by at least Thurs of this week. We'll finish unit 4, if the baby waits until then...but I'd welcome him sooner. )

I think that's so neat that you posted this, because we are going there on Friday. Yay! We're all so excited, the adults almost as much as the kids. I'm taking my son (PHFHG) my bro and sis-in-law are taking their kids, (BLHFHG), our parents are going, and we're also taking a cousin (CTC). We like to do things as a family, as you can tell!
I hope you all had a great time! Nice to know other HODies had the same great idea!

Hi!

The museum is in Hebron, KY, and near Cinncinatti and the IL,KY,Ohio tri-state borders. We went just after it opened and there wasn't a camel ride yet, but we had a blast. My dc were only 3 and 7 at the time and they loved it too. It took us a long time to go through it and we were ushered out at closing having not seen everything yet. We are lifetime members so we will hopefully get there again soon to see the rest, including the camel! I would say plan in about 6 hours to take in everything!

Cute pictures! :D
