One more CTC question/DITHOR

I am trying to be really sure before I order this curriculum. As I look over the sample week's schedule of CTC, I see under "Storytime" - "read at least 1 biography for the the next 16 days." This would be a book from the Girl's Interest or Boys' Interest packages, NOT the DITHOR reading, correct? This would be in place of doing a History read-aloud all together? Where is the schedule for DITHOR written into the weekly plans?

You are correct on Storytime. You choose to EITHER do the history set of read-alouds OR the boy/girl interest pack. The biography listed on day one of the plans would be from those storytime packs you can order. You're reading this book aloud to your child.

DITHOR is found in the Language Arts box of the plans 3 days each unit. You will get through 5 of the genres following this plan. You can either choose to order a book pack from HOD for this (and will still have 4 genres the child can use the following year) or you can get Carrie's sample book list for book ideas. Some moms choose to use the library rather than purchase these books.
