oviraptors in Preparing

We are doing Preparing. On page 41 of "One Small Square - Cactus Desert", it lists an oviraptor as a reptile in the desert. I looked it up on Wikipedia and it only lists it as a dinosaur. So, it begs the question, what is this reptile listed with all of today's animals in the desert? Is it a modern day dinosaur or a different reptile? Any information that you have would be great. My ds wants more info.
