I just had to add we ended up reading through both Bibles, starting with the Early Reader's, and then doing The Beginner's Bible next, following the schedule and discussing the questions. We did this because my ds needed some time to grow in his reading. Both Bibles were wonderful, and I enjoyed drawing out the Emerging Reader's Set this way for him. Both Bibles are read all the way through in the schedule. Anyway, just thought I'd share!

Thanks Julie, that's great information, especially as far as drawing out the ER Set for a kiddo who needs some additional time.
I have the hardest time deciding between books when there are choices...the two different bibles in this situation.
I love how you were able to use both in such a constructive way!

This is what we are doing as well. My kids are eating those books up and I have both so I figured why not. My two little ones come to bed with me for a short time in the evening and I read my Bible, they read their story book. Very sweet time for us.

My boys loved reading through the Bible as well. Once they finished, it became their Bible to take to church and to have in their room during the week for free reading.
