Hi Crystal! It is so nice to meet you, and I can't wait for your box day! LHTH and LHFHG are going to be so much fun! I have to dash off and do LHFHG myself now... time for his little water experiment and to share his Bible verse with someone.

Hi

My name is Kay....and I have been lurking for about a week, but finally got on today. I have not used any of the HOD products but plan to start LHFHG in the fall with my (then) K & 1st grader.....I also have soon to be 3rd & 5th grader (plan doing MFW CtG with them) and a 7 month old little boy. I have been homeschooling for the past 5 years and am very excited to have discovered this program...I have a few questions, but will post them when I later when I am not so tired.

I have enjoyed reading your posts and look forward to getting to know you all and the program better. BTW ~ I think I am a combination of a Betty & an Olive...but lean more toward the Betty side. LOL!

Hi Kay! Thanks for "unveiling", and welcome to the HOD board! I'm doing LHFHG now, and I think you'll love it. It'll be great to get to know you, and I'm so glad you introduced yourself!
P.S. I'm calling myself an "Olibet" these days, so perhaps you're one as well!

Hi, my name is Christa and I am a Lurker! :D

Post by granolamom6 »

Ever since my dear friend Mary started investigating HOD, I have been coming to the board and reading and learning. :D I have to say that the friendliness of the people here would be enough to get me interested in HOD! But, the curriculum stands on its own, and so, today, I will be starting LHFHG with my 6 year old dd and continuing LHTH with my 3 year old dd. :D

I also plan on purchasing PHFHG when it is released to use with my 12 year old ds and my 10 year old dd together.

Thank you for drawing me out of "lurkdom" :D I look forward to joining in the discussions here.
