My ABC Bible verses

My dd never had the chance to use LHTH but this up and coming school year will use LHFHG. I really like Susan Hunt's book My ABC Bible Verses used in Little Hands and I also like her other book Big Truths for Small Kids. I am thinking about using one or both of them this summer for her devotional time. My dh is taking my older dc (age 9 and 11) through a book by Bruce Ware called Big Truths for Young Hearts, but I feel like this particular book by Bruce Ware is way over my dd's (age 5) head. Which of Susan Hunt's books do you think would be more appropriate for her age? I know many of you have used My ABC Bible Verses in LHTH and thought you may be able to help me.

We used it for our nightly Bible time as a family with my 5 yo dd and I think she got a lot out of it. I think she got more from it than her 2 yo brother. HTH!

I haven't used the other one, but I think My ABC Bible Verses would be perfect for a 5 year old.

I think that I will try to get my hands on My ABC Bible Verses for my dd. I feel better knowing that those who have used it before think it is well suited for a 5-year-old.

We found this book long before we found HOD. When our son was 3 we started doing the Bible verses and he soon put them to memory. Whenever anyone asks about a great book I recommend this one...hiding God's word in our little ones' hearts is so wonderful. DS is almost 6 and he still knows every one of the verses in the book!! Big recommendation from me!!
