Question about paint for art projects

Post by marypoppins »

What kind of paint do you typically have dc use when painting on colored construction paper? We have tempra paint, but it tends to not want to "stick" to the paper and has horrible coverage. Is there some trick I don't know about, or do you have a particular brand or different type that you would recommend? Thanks!

Hi,

I typically use Crayola brand "Washable Kid's Paint". It comes in a small 10 bottle package. Seems to work well. :D

We used the Crayola brand too. We've purchased it at Walmart and at Target. It worked well for us!

We've used both the Crayola paint and Lakeshore's washable paint. Both worked well. :D

Thanks, Ladies! I picked up some Crayola paint at Wal-Mart yesterday. (I waited till the crowds cleared out in late afternoon  ). DD and I may re-do some of those fun projects from LHFHG that didn't come out quite right using our old paint. :D
