Praying for HOD and the writing...

Post by water2wine » Sat Oct 11, 2008 7:49 pm

I just wanted to say that I am praying for the new program. I can't wait to see it. And I am praying for protection to the people behind HOD and their hearts as they write and give so unselfishly to this program. I have just been thinking how lucky my family is to be able to use something that makes my life so much easier and have that something be huge in helping my children grow in The Lord. 8) I was so excited to see the plans for where HOD is heading and I am so excited for my children to have HOD for the long haul. :D

I know there are other providers out there but I have never personally experienced one that cares so much for the families that use their product and really puts in so much effort to help us work around our individual quirks. I do not know how I would have been able to make it hsing this year with all that has kind of fallen down around me if we had not found HOD. No matter what happens I just know I can still pull off HOD and have it be blessed. God is so good and just gives us the perfect plan when we need it. :D

I know I am not the only family that is being blessed and I just wanted to ask people to be in prayer for everyone that is a part of HOD. I see the enemy sometimes trying to make head way in so many things these days and I just feel like we need to surround HOD's families with prayer so that nothing will come between us and having our children know the full glory of Him in our hsing. So for those that are inclined please join me in praying for the families that are involved in creating HOD and the ones that are blessed to be using it.

And to Carrie and Julie thanks for all you do and may God bless you as you continue on with the good work He has for you. We appreciate you! :D

water2wine,

I totally agree. I will be praying, too. HOD has really been a blessing to me. I love this HOD family, and Carrie and Julie, I feel like some dear friends are writing my curriculum for me and anwering my questions for me as I go along. Thank you Carrie for the long hours you sacrifice in writing and the MANY decisions you make. Your work is truly a ministry to many families (including mine). I know that you bathe your work in prayer, and I'll willingly join you in this!

Thank you Kathleen. I think you and I could accomplish great things if we were praying together.

Ok I tried to reply to this last night and kept getting side tracked until I had to not reply. I totally agree water2wine. I pray for HOD all the time and will continue to do that. I am so happy with the curriculum and can't wait to see what the future holds with HOD. I am very excited to see what the new ancients guide holds. We are loving Bigger and I drool over the Preparing posts and can't wait to do that one next year. I also love that the Austin's so involve the users of their curriculum in the future guides. It also is very evident that they care for us as well and that is refreshing and a blessing to me.

Thanks for reminding us all water2wine!
Blessings,

I agree! I pray for the Austins and their family and give thanks for them often. We do need to hold them up in prayer as the enemy does not want them doing what they are doing. I also love how the ladies on the board are all praying for each other as well. HOD is unique for sure and I know that God is blessing many people through it.

Oh Ladies! You cannot even begin to imagine how much we appreciate and covet your prayers. There is nothing greater that we could ask of any of you than to surround us in prayer as we write! We desire above all to glorify our heavenly Father with our guides and with our lives, and the enemy loves nothing better than to deter us from that task! :D

Thank you so much for this thread, each one of you is blessing us right now as we write through your prayers for our family and our ministry.

The Lord blessed us with you!

Blessings,
Carrie
