Revised IEW need new teacher guide?

Will I need the new/revised IEW teacher's guide to go with the new student book? I ordered a new student book for my daughter this year, but not the teacher's guide, as I just purchased it last year when my son did IEW. Now that I see that it's been revised and there's updated lessons with it, I'm wondering if I'll need to purchase the revised teacher's guide too? Thanks!

Last year we used an older version of the TM for IEW with a new student book for Res to Ref. I do not know if this will help, the answers were the same and the concepts the same just the page numbers did match up per the directions. I just matched to the lesson number and what was being taught.

Hi! Good question! Carrie has completely rewritten the plans for the new Medieval History Based Writing Teacher's Guide and Student Book. She tried to go from her old plans with the old Medieval... at first, but the changes were too massive. Her new plans are copyrighted, but HOD ships them automatically when the Medieval History Based Writing resources are ordered. The changes took Carrie a long time to map out - the changes were fairly significant. Ordering the new Medieval... Teacher's Guide costs only $20 more than just ordering the new Medieval... Student Book - well worth it to have your teacher's guide match your student book, I think (especially as her new plans are just included)! But, it's up to you! Hope that helps!

If I had realized the new books were going to require new plans, I would have ordered both books when I ordered, but instead just ordered another student book (thinking I could use the teacher's guide I used last year). Since I've already ordered my books, is it possible to order just the teacher's guide from HOD for $20? I am thankful for Carrie's hard work in revamping the plans!
