sending private messages

I am trying to send a pm and it says sent successfully, but then it's just in my outbox. When I check sent messages, it's not there. Am I doing something wrong?

I believe that it has actually sent even though it shows it as being in your outbox. You can send me a test PM to see if I receive it and see what the status shows after sending it, if you like.
