Yes. I order when she completes which subjects. I try and spread it out though. My dd gets tired if she reads too much at a time. I try and do the left side of the guide in the AM (plus math) and then the right in the PM. I get my dd up by 7:45 most days and she is done with breakfast and ready to go by 8:30 or 8:45. I sit with her and try and do her story time first. And then I explain math. Then for the rest of the morning she can work independently. After she gets done, she gets to play and eat lunch until 1:00. Then for the afternoon, I have sit with her and go over dictation, grammar and writing with her. She then does her science and DITHOR. If I have DITHOR stuff to do with her, I do it last. She paints at the table for poetry and she can do it 75% alone. While she is reading independently, I work with my younger 2. But lately, my younger 2 have been doing their history and science on their own. So it used to be that I did math, spelling and grammar in the AM. And then history, bible, science in the PM. Now, my younger 2 have been doing the reading alone and then they come and see me. I do read story time in the PM to my son though. My youngest reads her own story time book but she usually does that in the AM and she does it first (she loves the Burgess books and doesn't want to wait for me.)
It seems like if there is a lot of chaos in the house, then it is harder to get done. I half way wonder if you took some of her dance lessons away if she would perk up and get moving. I know I sound terribly mean. But I place a lot of emphasis on natural consequences in my house .... if you can't get your school work done, then you can't do other stuff. I have found that speaks volumes to my kids. I have had them miss soccer and AWANA once or twice because of it. It made a huge impression. I also would pray about how she does meal packing. Maybe each weekend she should make up things that are easy to grab and pack during the week. I know it is her responsibility but maybe making it for her might get it done faster too. That is tough though - I am to the point where my kids make their own breakfast and they might even make my breakfast. I also have the kids help with dinner and they sometimes make it. I work from home so at times I am very busy. Like now - I have been working since 6:00 AM. I just needed a small break to clear my head and I am salary so my volume of work can just sit while I stretch for a few. But most days I work. My schedule varies but lately I have been working 30-40 hours per week. It has just been really busy. For me, it is helpful for my kids to load and unload dishes, make meals, fold and wash clothing. I usually do the washing they all fold their own clothing. They also have to clean up after lunch and possibly vacuum/sweep. Everyone chips in and it is great. I also have a fairly rigid schedule. I work from 6:00 - 8:30. Take a 15-25 min break. Work again until 10:00 or 10:30. Do math, spelling, grammar and Latin with younger kids. I may work at lunch and I may not. After lunch, no work (unless I have a random meeting). I sit with dd at 1:00 going over right side of guide. I help her with grammar/writing and then dictation. She then moves independent. I then help younger kids with Storytime, Bible, Science and History activities - but it seems like now they have taken those on themselves (at least the reading). I have had a lot of work to do these past few weeks so I started working now in the afternoon but if I can't work in the afternoon, then I work at night around 8:00 till 10:00 or 11:00. I only work the last shift if there is a ton of things to do. If it is slow, then only working from 6:00 AM to 9:00 or 10:00 and that is all. But this is how I schedule my day and my kids days.
