Jesus teaches unit 8.3 of Beyond science

I have been reading a chapter a day out of my Bible from when I was a little girl... it is "the Picture Bible". Anyways, today was when Nicodemus meets with Jesus and Jesus is explaining what it is like to be "born again". Nicodemus doesn't understand so Jesus explains that just like you cannot see air, you can see how it moves the tree leaves and compares that to the Spirit of God, which you cannot see but you can see His effects on a persons heart.

Then we read the science text out of God's Wonderful Works and... haha, it said just what Jesus had said. We cannot see air but we can see what the wind can do. DS perked up and drew the conclusion on his own.

Just thought it was cute and totally not planned. It just worked.

What a special moment! I love how HOD's put Christ at the center in each subject area as much as possible so that connections like your ds made can be made! This is such a more connected way of learning than my disjointed public school education was, where everything Biblical was kept out of my learning at school. I also think that your enjoying reading the Bible stories each day yourself encourages moments like these to occur even more often. There really is something to that quietly living the way one ought to live for Jesus being an example that can have big positive effects on all around. Way to go, mom!
