We have only had 3 weeks off, for our vacation and a few other things I wanted to get done. But now we are restarting for fall! My oldest is in unit 23 of Bigger Hearts, my 2nd is ALMOST finished with LHFHG but we are going to finish up the last 2 weeks of it, and my 3rd is doing LHTH, we are going to speed it up to every day, or 4 days/week at least. She is in unit 10 or 11 I think.
Praying for God's blessings as I try to re-implement our schedule, with perhaps some missionary prayer in there too, continue our family Bible memory, add in hymns for my oldest (we have not be doing that part of Bigger so far) and get us into a good routine before a lot of our other fall activities start up. Blessings on the rest of you starting up for fall too! (but not yet for those waiting for the World Geography Guide).

Success and much blessing as you start up school again. May the joy of the Lord be your strength!

HOORAY - time to start!
The routine is sometimes a relief to get back to. I pray you have a wonderful day, but if not, be sure to give yourself some grace and time to get back into the groove!
It sounds like you have a good plan for the days ahead, and I know in the past, when we have come back to existing guides, we have found it really does seem like we can just pick up where we left off without much of a hiccup. That is so nice! Like coming back to a friend.
However, letting go of summer break, I have to admit... that is a little harder.
In Christ,
Julie

Re: School starts tomorrow!
Well, it was a little bumpy as a first day back. Our other breaks this summer were not that long - but we also weren't schooling 5 days/week which I hope to do for the next few weeks. Note #1 - I need to streamline breakfast so it does not take 1 hour! That doesn't fit into the school schedule. Note #2 - self control, self control. I need to have patience and deal with interruptions more graciously. My 4YO for her part, needs to have more self control too, but how can she if I'm not a good example?
Blessings again to others, and thanks for the prayers and well-wishes!
