CTC Encyclopedia; Bible Dictionary

Hi everyone,
I want to get your thoughts on reference books needed for CTC.

The CTC introduction says a Bible dictionary or Bible encyclopedia "would be helpful". I'm looking for recommendations on a Bible Dictionary or Bible Encyclopedia.

The CTC introduction also recommends one or more comprehensive history encyclopedias (print, software CD or on the internet). I'm looking for recommendation for this as well. I already have The Kingfisher History Encyclopedia (2004). Do you think this would work well for CTC? I also have Usborne Internet-Linked Ancient World Encyclopedia from Preparing Extension pkg.

Do you use print encyclopedias? or a computer DVD or download? or do you pay for an online subscription to an encyclopedia? Which one? Are you happy with it?
