Rev to Rev reader's question...

Post by Shawna » Mon Jun 04, 2012 8:21 pm

I am getting the Rev to Rev guide for my 13yo 8th grader,..we are planning to get the extension set of readers (the list that starts with Calico Capture), I do not need to get the basic read-alouds too, do I? I wanted to place my order tomorrow and wanted to make sure I have all my ducks in a row tonight.Wasn't sure who all has used this for an older student,....also, not sure which Option Kit I need for the Science Kit. Opt 1 says for up to 13,.. and Opt 2 says grade 8 and up--he is both! 13 and in 8th, so I wasn't sure....
Thanks!!!

If you order the extension set for an older child, the basic set is optional. I was not going to order the basic set for my daughter (9th) grade, but since I am combining her with 2 younger siblings, then I needed it. Some people like to have additional reading material, so they order both. I would order option 2 for the science.

Thanks Melissa! I was leaning toward the Option 2--he is pretty Science minded so I thought that he would enjoy it more....
