Are we a HOD swap board?

Just wondered why I don't see anyone selling used curriculum...
Hope its okay to ask...

No, this is not a swap board. And let's please not start a big debate about whether or not it is right to sell our used materials.....those never go well.

edited - when I read what I wrote, it sounded a bit harsh. I don't mean it to be, it's just that I have been on sooooo many boards where this topic just gets ground into the dirt and gets really mean spirited....I don't want that to happen here.

I really have no idea what Carrie's feeling are on this topic....maybe she will pop in later this week after conferences to give us better feedback on what she purposes for this board.

I do hope swap/selling stuff does not make it to these forums. Can you imagine all those fighting over stuff - lol. Just my $0.02 for when Carrie pops in.

But, you can find stuff at several other places where used homeschool curriculums are sold. I don't see HOD levels being listed as often as other curriculums, but they do pop up occassionally.

Hey ladies,

I just wanted to pop-in and agree that this board is for uplifiting and encouraging one another on our HOD walk. There are already wonderful sale/swap boards out there for buying and selling used curriculum, so that's not our purpose here.

We devote our time to helping each of you be successful as you use HOD, and we want this to be a place where you can go to get your questions answered about HOD.

Thanks for helping us stay true to our original purpose and calling.
