1A Singapore math
1A Singapore math
There is probably a post about this somewhere already, but are there activities for Singapore 1A in the back of the LHFHG guide? Or do I need to buy the Beyond guide for that? I know there is a schedule in the back, but don't know if the activities are also listed? Thanks for your help!

Right. I am looking at my guide now. In the appendix is an alternative schedule for 1A and 1B. Unit and day with page # for mathbook. But no activities. Definitely get the Beyond guide then, Carries ideas are sooooo worth it.

If you want the hands on activities to go with 1st grade, you'll need to get the beyond guide,. I know many people do that. It's what I'm planning to do as well. I've heard that the hands on activities are so much better than using the teacher's guides or the textbooks.

Thank you, ladies! That's what I was thinking may be the case. Now just to find a used Beyond guide for a reasonable price....

Starla,
One thing that is great to know is that if you purchase your Beyond guide from HOD for the hands-on math activities now, then next year when you need the rest of the Economy Package for Beyond we'll credit you back the package discount for your guide when you buy the rest of the Beyond Economy Package. That way you can still reap the benefit of package pricing through HOD and get the activities you need now for math.
It also makes next year a very cheap year with Beyond, since you've already bought the guide and will get money back next year!
Simply note in the Instructions box at check-out next year that you purchased the Beyond guide this year for the hands-on math.
Blessings,
Carrie
