We finished up Unit 28 in Bigger Hearts. My son enjoyed learning about the Wright brothers and airplanes.
Since Thursday was his birthday, we took a day off and had a field trip to the Flint Hills Discovery Center in Manhattan. Even though we don't live very far away, this was our first visit. They really enjoyed the play area, and the cowboy section. We also enjoyed looking at the photography since we recognized some of the places.

In LHFHG we did part of unit 18. He had some (not mandatory) testing, so we only got to part of his week. He did really well on testing and even enjoyed it - at first.
We also had a nature lesson, via working in the garden.

So, officially we did not do much school wise, we did however, learn a lot of lessons!

FINALLY got done with last weeks weekly review! We have been having a lot of fun around here as our year is wrapping up!
