On day 1 of the CtoC guide, it says in the Reading about History section to answer one or more of the following questions from your research:
Is this expected to be written down somewhere? Done orally? or . . . ?
How have you done this?

Sorry, I just reread your question. I would just have them answer orally. Generally if it is to be written down it is mentioned.
