My brain isn't working I've read the thread on getting ready for CTC from last year and I've read through the introduction and skimmed through the units.
I know I need
copies of things (I have access to a copy machine at least weekly, if not more often, so I'm not worried about specifics)
a binder with pages to separate into different sections (this works better for us than notebooks)
page protectors
watercolor paper (one per unit? what weight?)
watercolors (tubes?)
brushes of various sizes
common place book
what else do I need? What is the nature journal?
Like I said... my brain is not functioning properly and I want to go next week and get supplies because we are going out of town for a couple of weeks. And when we get back I want to have everything, or most everything already here because we are going to be buying a new storage device for our school room. I want to have everything so I can know exactly how much storage I need.

Re: CTC supplies
We've been using CTC for about 3 months now and these are the things that we have used:
water containers
plastic palette for the paints, and an open area on it to mix the paints
2 different sized flat water color brushes ( they recommend #5 and #8 red sable brushes)
2 different sized flat water color brushes (1/2" and 1 ")
toothpicks
lots of paper towels!!
masking tape
dropper
Water color paints-we use the tube kind and it works great!
The water color paper we got does not have a size on it-just standard
'we also use almost daily colored pencils. I use a 3 holed punch a lot. Read ahead in the science book because there are supplies for each experiment-not hard to find but just make sure you have them on hand. Oh yeah, index cards to copy the poems onto each week. We use 3 x5.
That's about it.
Hope you have a great trip and enjoy CTC!

Re: CTC supplies
If you have a local craft store, you can take in your CTC guide and show them the list in the Introduction too. They will often gather for you!

Thanks everyone!
I didn't think about taking it to the craft store... that's an excellent idea!
