Switching out titles

Post by Maadrose » Fri Mar 15, 2013 4:28 pm

I was wondering how possible it would be to switch out a book in HOD? For example there are several books about George Washington Carver. Do I NEED to use the exact one suggested? Couldn't I just switch it out for a book about George Eashington Carver if I already own it? No need to keep purchasing books if a substitute will work.

I suppose it would work if it is for storytime, dithor......but not as a core. Not all books are created equal ;) so a bio about him could be very dry, fact filled, non living.....or it could be engaging, full of factual story, living..... where are you trying to swap out?

I am switching out a David Livingstone book in REV2REV as I already own it. Do you like the version you own? If I have loved the book I own, I use it. If it was OK, I order the HOD one. No book should be just OK. There are some precious book selections in HOD.
