RTR Notebook Question

Post by 3sweeties » Fri Mar 15, 2013 9:32 am

Hi everyone!

Does anyone have any ideas for how to keep the BEAUTIFUL notebooking pages from ripping out of my DS's binder? I have tried those white reinforcement things and it STILL rips! It is driving me nuts b/c I don't want every page coming out, you know?!? Is my son just crazy-rough or is it the kind of binder I am using for the notebooking pages? Any ideas to keep the pages in there? :D

Thanks!

My sons flip their pages with a vengeance - can't boys do anything delicately?!? Those holes don't stand a chance. We put our notebooking pages in clear plastic pages each week they are complete on both sides. Works great, and preserves them well enough we can pull them out years later to enjoy cruising down memory lane! HTH! :D

We do the same. I put all of them in clear plastic pages at the beginning of the year. They just pull out the one they are working on and slip it back in when they are done. We would rip them all (at least my boys)!

Yup, clear plastic sheet protectors! For whatever reason, they also make the finished page even more "professional" looking, and they keep the glued on projects safe too.

I have my rough child remove the page from the binder to complete it and then return it. I cant find our page protectors though....but this is working! :D

Jessica,

We do something similar in that after completing each unit in the notebook, we place it in a plastic page protector then. This keeps me from having to get the notebook in protectors prior to school starting (which I just can't seem to pull together) and still keeps the pages beautifully preserved. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

Thanks for all the ideas, everybody!!! :D I don't know why I didn't think of the clear plastic page protectors! We are using those as he finishes each page now and they are working great! :D
