Question about ordering please:-)

Post by Michaeljenn » Sat Mar 09, 2013 5:08 pm

I will be ordering Preparing soon, but have a question about the readers. I see that it has a "Self Study Deluxe History Package for newly independent readers".... but then it has you choose one of the DITHOR packages... Would that mean that there are two sets of readers, or do we choose one or the other, or what?? I am confused!! LOL

Thanks,
Jennifer

The independent history readers are a part of the Preparing guide. You will order that for part of your history.

The DITHOR readers are for reading instruction. You would have a separate teacher's guide for DITHOR (though it's scheduled in Preparing, you don't teach it from the Preparing guide)

Thank you!! So basically, my dd will have 2 readers going at a time.... one for history "enrichment" and then DITHOR for instruction. I did read a bit about the DITHOR program for the level 3 readers and it said to have the child read the chapter to me, so I am assuming that is the reading instruction?

Thanks again!!
