Hello!
I would really like to start my 3 1/2 dd on LHTH...like yesterday I have researched many preschool guides and they all suggest to start in August as the activities correspond to the seasons. Is this how LHTH is formatted as well? Or can I start next week!

Re: LHTH- When to start during the year
There are no seasonal activities in LHTH so you can start anytime I am just like you...as soon as I received it I wanted to start. In fact, I did Have fun!

Re: LHTH- When to start during the year
We actually started in January last year and just now finished up--it worked out great! We loved LHTH!
Re: LHTH- When to start during the year
You can start LHTH at any time, so why not now?!? It does not coordinate with the seasons, which lets US pick the time we want to begin. Love that. Can I come teach for a day? My dc have all completed LHTH, and I'm feeling a little envious now. Just kidding (for the most part ) - have fun with LHTH! It is an amazing start to homeschooling and holds some of our best memories!

Re: LHTH- When to start during the year
Thank you so much! I am excited to begin the journey! I did well in public school and college, but my husband is the smartest person I know....and he was homeschooled! He did ABEKA all the way through, and while I respect the tradition of excellence with ABEKA I want something different for my girls. I would like a blend of traditional and Charlotte Mason ideals, and I think that is what I have found with HOD. Excited to find out!
