Made me laugh!

Just a little funny that I thought you ladies would enjoy.

My son (9) was setting the table and was having problems getting the dishes out of the cupboard. All of sudden he says, "Chugarum!" to show his disgust. I start laughing as I realize someone has been listening to his little sister's read-alouds. :D Anyone know which character this is from?

LOL! I do know who he was being but I don't want to spoil it for everyone else. I absolutely love the Thorton Burgess books and we have read many of them beyond what was scheduled in LHFHG. I love that he is taking on some of nuances of the characters and it's not even his book! :lol:

My older ds had a "chugarum" period when he was in Little Hearts. My youngest will be there in a bit. They love it!

We've had many Thorton Burgess moments in our home as well. :D These are so well loved! I can't wait til my youngest starts LHFHG so we can enjoy them again. :D

I called my 4 yo inside the other day and she calls from the yard, " Here I come...lipperty-lipperty-lip!".
