Can someone tell me if there is anything objectionable in these books?
Thanks so much!

Misty of Chincoteague
We listened to a couple of them on audio CD and they were wonderful. Honey for a Child's Heart lists Misty of Chincoteague; Sea Star; Stormy, Misty's Foal; and Born to Trot as suggested books in the category "Stories for Animal Lovers - Ages 9-12". It also says that Marguerite Henry is "considered by many to be the best writer of horse stories."

I can't remember anything that was objectionable either. Misty of Chincoteague, King of the Wind, and Justin Morgan Had a Horse, were all wonderful! My son thoroughly enjoyed them, and now I'm on a search for more quality horse books. He is loving Black Beauty now!
