Hod/dual credit

Post by snadig » Tue Oct 09, 2012 10:23 am

Hello everyone.

Just curious if anyone has used Hod and dual credit? Like college plus.Thinking ahead, my dd will start high school next year. She us doing rev to rev this year and doing great and could handle a bit more, I think. Trying to let the Lord lead regarding anything with school.

Thanks for any advice. Blessings on your day.

My dd is not doing HOD, but she is doing dual credit through Cedarville University. She is taking 2 classes this semester that are 3 college credits each. The amount of work they require is huge. They say to expect around 8-10 hours of work a week for each class. That has proven pretty accurate. She works about 1 1/2 to 2 hours a day on each one of these classes and then also does work on the weekends. I think even adding 1 of these classes to a full HOD guide would be a lot. You would probably have to cut something out. I don't know how much work College Plus would require a day.
