At the bottom of the blog I show examples of Kitchen sponge, crumpled paper towel, and a cotton rag.
I had a sea sponge which I think is the best for doing this type of leaf dabbing.

Oh, my! What beautiful work. Thank you for sharing. This sheds a completely different light on the work my children completed. I'll have to bookmark this for future reference with child no. 3.
