Today's Funny

Post by Tansy » Thu Sep 06, 2012 8:59 pm

So we finished our Turkey geography today and it covered whirling dervishes... My ipod was at my side so I pulled up a you tube video of them dudes whirling and showed it to the girls. They like it so much they got up and spun a round. At dinner we were talking about them, my hubby mentioned when he was a kid he loved to Whirl like a Dirvish. My eldest in a total dead pan delivery said "You wore dresses as a child?" While dad was sputtering, she bursts out in a peal of laughter. We could not stop giggling for a whole 5 minutes her delivery was so perfect. I swear she could be the next Carol Burnett.

Did dad know what he was saying or was he just being funny? LOL. I had to look it up too... wow those guys are incredible..! They kept whirling around and around, no one hurled. I would've been sick to mah tummy after 5 turns. :x

Well so now I am looking forward to learning more about them with ds. HOD and the "education I never got" (in public school). :)
