Preparing DITHR?

Post by twoxcell » Mon Jul 23, 2012 12:40 am

How many books would you get through in Preparing if you do DITHR as Scheduled? I'm trying to get everything planned out for our upcoming school year. TIA :)

I think someone said 4-5 genres in a previous post. I am doing Preparing in the fall and had the same question.

In PHFHG on up, DITHOR is planned 3 days a week in the guides. For those guides you get through 4-5 genres. In BHFHG, DITHOR is planned 5 days a week, so you go through 9 genres. HTH! :D

Thanks guys! I guess I had calculated 7 for Preparing, because I was thinking 3 days times 35 weeks is 105 divided by 15 is 7. Maybe I'm confused. It is probably better to plan for a few less in case we don't get to it every day that it is scheduled.

At the end of each genre there is a project. Each project is suggested to be done for 5 days, so technically there are 20 says for each genre which would be 5.25 genres each year from Preparing up. We could do 4 one year and then 5 the next to get through all 9 genres in 2 years :D :D . I think this is it..

Ok duh, I completely forgot about that. That makes much more sense now. I'm glad I'm taking the Summer to figure all of this out.

I know! I am only taking a short break before we start up again and we are finishing just this week  .. and I am making a to do list that keeps growing (and getting things together)! I wish my brain was going to have a bit more of a rest to "figure" things out before jumping in to the next year. :D :D Oh well! I can not wait to start the new guides! Organizing and getting new stuff ready is also part of the fun though! :D :D :D I just love HOD!! :D :D :D
