Question about American Pioneers and Patriots in beyond

Post by Jaime » Thu Jun 21, 2012 9:36 am

So, I'm a couple lessons into beyond. While reading through each lesson in American Pioneers and Patriots, the page numbers don't seem to be keeping up with the boxes. The summary in the box doesn't go with what we read. Am I missing something? Doing something wrong? I looked for an update for this book, but didn't find one. FWIW, I have the 1995 edition. Thank you for any help! :)

I had that issue too. I just looked at what was in the summary box and lined it up with my book. I had an older APP, not sure the edition as I no longer have it.

ETA: Hi Jaime, didn't realize I was replying to you. Anyway, I just did as above. The info is all there, just different pages.

Jaime,

The edition you have is an older one. :D CLP rewrote American Pioneers and Patriots and added some additional content to the newer edition. :D Since it is a book that is used all year and is used from cover-to-cover by the time you're through Beyond, I would highly encourage you to consider having the correct edition (as it will make using Beyond so much easier). It is available on our website here: http://www.heartofdakota.com/history.php

Blessings,
Carrie
