Bigger memory verses

Post by Gwenny » Thu Jun 14, 2012 9:09 pm

What do you have them write their verses on/in for BHFHG? Do you have a system for review?

I'm looking for ideas! Thanks!

I had my ds write them on 4x6 index cards. We kept them in one of those cheap, plastic 4x6 photo books. It worked very nicely and was a compact way to collect his verses.

I'm in the process of setting our Bigger stuff up. I'm using a 4x6 index card binder, one each for Bible verses and vocab. It looks like it'll work well. He can write on the card, then put it in the binder. Later he'll be able to easily flip through them. I added an ABC index to his vocab binder.

I don't know anything about Bigger and what needs to be done but we use this, ** Link removed ** and it really works. Hope it is OK to post that link, if not sorry. It's the Scripture Memory System from Simply Charlotte Mason. HTH

We used a photobook from Walmart. It was leather and looked like a neat old-timey leather book! It had clear sleeves to insert 4 x 6 index cards in. Here it is open...

These little photobooks are fun and very inexpensive! It worked well as a special keepsake for BHFHG's Bible verses! :D
