Ques about Singapore Math w/ Beyond Little Hearts

We are starting hs for first time this year, I am considering Beyond Little Hearts for my 1st grader, and I have a question about the math portion. I would need the 1a&1b for him, when I look at the package information and click on the math portion, it only shows workbooks for 1a&b. But for 2a&b there are workbooks and textbooks listed. When I look at singapore's website there are textbooks available for 1a&b and also teacher's guides and home instructors guide. Couple of questions: do any of those items (other than the workbooks) come with the 1a&b set, and if not, is it not needed? Thanks, Katrina

You don't need the textbooks for 1A and 1B. Carrie has activites written in the guide to do with those books. If you use 2A and 2B then there are no activities so she added the textbooks. She has activites for 2A and 2B written in Bigger.
